Seed Saving Healthy Habits
I like to think that the lifestyle habits we do is a little like seed saving. The more you do a particular habit the more it gets ingrained in your lifestyle and it can grow into something bigger and more meaningful, giving you a bank of good habits that will keep you healthy, strong and independent as you grow.
Each new habit can be thought of like a seed you add to your bank. Eating a satisfying breakfast, fuelling your body during the day, not skipping meals, keeping hydrated, building up your phycial activity or fitness or reducing your sedentary activity or time sitting, having a good sleep routine.
Sometimes we take these habits for granted because they are something that we have always done and thought of as normal. But these days something as simple as having breakfast everyday is not always normal for everyone and can be a struggle. It would be great to share something from your bank of healthy habits to inspire us all to be healthy. So let us know what habits or routines you have that keep you staying healthy and energised to face each day by sharing in our Bright Bods group!
